The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers growing in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will separate from the primary party to begin their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

Hence, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the group access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to head to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the combat party won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight participants to form the Seekers and Planners groups.

Fans can look forward to learning which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on October 24.
